More about food. This time, of the list variety.

Recently, I've read about the Omnivore's 100 on a few blogs and since first doing so, I've seen a few more of these lists pop up. The one I've found most notable is the Vegetarian 100 listed here because, right now, I am trying to make my diet less similar to an omnivore's diet and more similar to a vegetarian's diet.

If you haven't seen one of these lists yet, the way to play along is simple. Copy the list to your site and bold the items you have eaten and strike out the ones you would never eat and then post the list on your blog. Feel free to put comments next to the foods (as I've done below, in italics). And, if you want, leave a comment linking to your results so I (and others!) can read them.

Here's mine!

LMAO I'd say that I've NOT eaten at least 98% of that list. If it doesn't come in the freezer section next to pizza, it's probably not for me :P

gotta add edamame, veggie sushi, summer rolls (made with rice paper skins), black bean burger, and spinach lasagna!

This is fun! I may do it myself. Very cool to see NO strikeouts on your list.

Marcy -- Maybe you can try the paw paw (HUH?) and tell me what it's like. You'd feel so adventurous! Ha!

Merathon -- Right on with the spinach lasagna. Veggie sushi and summer rolls are great, too!

tfh -- Yup, no strikeouts! And, some things that I really would like to try.

I've eaten a good deal of those, which surprises me because...I like meat and there's nothing wrong with it.

But I also didn't know what many of those food items were! Thanks go out to my former roomie, who is Indian and a vegetarian for the stuff that I did know!

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing! :)

Miz -- I made it! I make it a lot during the cool months. Mac & cheese...yum!

Bridget -- The idea w/the pumpkin is to get you to eat it some way other than pumpkin pie, because that is the most common way people eat it. They want you to break out!

I knew after reading your list that Marcy would turn her nose at it. That girl loves "real food." I, on the other hand, have found that I am leaning more away from meats these days. not sure what that means for me.

I definitely still eat meat -- I'm just trying to eat it less. Same with the junk food. I TRY to eat it less, but that doesn't always work!
