Two sides.

On the downside . . .

  • It's hot.
  • I have a migraine.
  • I haven't posted since Saturday.
  • I have a pitch letter to write and can't get motivated.
  • The Yankees can't win to save their lives.
  • The dirty dishes never clean themselves.
  • And the just-washed clothes never fold themselves.
  • The i key on my keyboard is busted.
  • It's I'm-sweating-just-standing-here hot.
  • I didn't run yesterday.
  • Didn't even workout.
  • My legs are covered with mosquito bites.
But on the upside . . .
  • Conal has the appetite of a 15-year-old football-playing boy after a few days of not wanting to eat much of anything.
  • My head hurts a lot less than it did when I woke up.
  • I'm planning to run during naptime.
  • The arugula I bought on Saturday is incredibly tasty.
  • I'm meeting friends for dinner.
  • It's sunny.
  • And not raining.
  • I got a new pair of sneaks yesterday.
  • I'm going to wear them for today's run.
And on the super upside . . .
  • I'm feeling much better now.
  • Thank you.

Hope you have a lovely naptime run and it helps you feel even better!

Somebody needs to work on inventing a machine that perfectly folds (and, heck, while they're at it, irons and sorts) clothes...

Ahh, a new day and feeling better! Yay!

I hate laundry.
My husband always likes to say that he "did the laundry" except he stops after putting it in the machine. Yeah, that's the easy part! lol

Anyway, glad you're feeling better. Have a good run!

i hate that about the dishes and laundry... in the least, the clothes could stay unwrinkled in the dryer til you get around to wearing them! ;)

I usually like the hot weather! It's just this 90 degree stuff in April, when I'm not used to it and can't cool down that I don't totally go for. :-)

Stopping by to say "hi." Love the background color of your blog. Send us some of your 90 degree heat here in CO.

Glad you are feeling much better. Sometime a little vent session is all you need.

I saw your tweet about the migraine & all :( This heat doesn't help.

Glad you're feeling better though!

(this written as I ignore 2 full baskets of clean unfolded clothes)

Ugh...mosquito bites...so sorry!

But great that you did the positives after the negatives...life's great, isn't it?

New shoes always makes me feel better and motivated. I too hate that all the mosquitos are out.

Wish I could say "sorry" about the Yankees, but i can't! *wink* Can we still be blogging friends?! My mom in upstate NY said basically the same thing - she is so disgusted with the way they are playing, and with all that payroll!

Two more on the positive side:

You are an awesome mom and
Your son will realize one day what an awesome mom he has

Glad you're feeling better.
