Where are my words?

For more than a day now, I've been contemplating the possibility that I used up all of my words in my first 200 posts. Or, perhaps, I just used up my inspiration. Who knows? I don't even have the words to describe what's been going on.

But, huh. How depressing. To think that I only had 200 posts in me.

Sigh.

Yesterday, I started and stopped about a dozen posts. I just couldn't find any sort of blogging mojo. I had a good (relatively speaking) run on the treadmill and thought that afterward I would have lots of interesting things to tell you all. Like how I found my tipsy legs again. And how my hammies are starting to feel consistently looser thanks to my weekly yoga sessions. (I do so love that Elise Gulan and her Yoga Fitness DVD.)

But it was all just so blah.

So, forgive me. I just need to get past post #201 and put it behind me and, with any luck, get my words back. Some inspiration would be nice, too. This blogger's block is no fun. (Advice? Suggestions? Voodoo tips? Feel free to lay it on me.)

Hope you all are having a great Wednesday!

I think you're doing what you need to do now. Just get it out of the way. It'll return. Just give it a little time.

I am having bloggers block right now to0. I just feel like my running is blah blah blah, same old same old. At least you have yoga! Hopefully inspiration will strike and you will have some great posts!

I rarely suffer from Blogger Block and with 2 Blogs to update I am pretty amazed. On the rare days when I lack inspiration I think of a song or quote as the theme for my post. Or I will just do a list of things about me, My 10 quirks, You know you are a runner when, 25 things about me, you get the idea.

I am sure you will make it through the little blockage without assistance. Jump baby!!

Ha. At times, I just tell myself to be satisfied with the blah. It happens.

By the way, I'm leaning toward taking your 5k advice-- now I just need to find some of your appreciation for the shorter distance.

I know what you mean. I dont think have posted 200, but I get so bored of myself always trying to come up with something to write about. My family blog is easy, I talk about my kidos all the time. My running blog.... blah. I am NOT a writer at all either so it feels like a chore at time. I sure love reading yours though. Even when you post about nothing it is intertaning..... thx

Bloggers block...I get it often too. I am sure it will come back to you. Running usually brings it back. Well, maybe not the 'mill.

That's happened to me before...which is suprising because I never shut up. Even with my last post, I just had to post about something different for a change. Maybe try that...something completely different!

When in doubt, fall back to the record of today's run, and the significance of how it fits into the goals you have. Also G.B. Shaw quotes are always helpful. :)

Weird. I've been feeling the same lately. I've been attributing it to the fact that I've been writing so much for others lately that I kind of run out of juice for my posts. I think most bloggers have that occasional point where they struggle with getting a post up.

I'm hoping my motivation returns soon and I wish the same for you. It will come back. I don't have any doubts at all. :)

Bloggers-block...ahhhh! I had it right after post-100, I think it happens.

Well, 201 is under your belt.

Here's to another 201!

Some days it is just hard to find things to write about. Especially when most of it relates to running.

I am NOT the blogger you are... but I keep a word document on my desk top with post ideas. That way when a blog, or life event, or anything gives me an idea, I can store it for when I need it.

Good luck!

Blogging is like a box of chocolates...

You'll find the words again soon enough. On to #201

Ah, it'll come back. You could always take up doing a theme once a week or something.. every Wednesday could be "Baking Wednesday" or whatever... Gives you a different topic to write about.

And, not every post has to be a work of art. Just put it up there, we're not here to critique it. :)
