Five things Friday, ep. 10

First . . . wow, 301 followers?!?!?! Thanks, everyone! I love visitors -- I hope I don't disappoint :-)
  1. I jumped in and created a Facebook page for this here blog. You can check it out here. I feel a bit like a copycat because I'd never thought of making a page until I started to see a bunch of blog pages on FB in the past two weeks. Maybe I'm not a copycat, though, since I was just inspired by all of you FBers!
  2. The early registration notice came out for my CSA (community supported agriculture) share yesterday. That, to me, means spring is practically here. Granted, we're only a month into winter but I've got fresh, local produce on my mind!
  3. Haven't run since Sunday. A forced layoff of sorts and it is getting to me! The weather has been decent (it was 39 degrees yesterday) so, ugh, the not running is tough. Luckily, I have a wedding on Saturday and my son's preschool open house on Sunday to distract me this weekend.
  4. What happens if you eat too many clementines? I mean, can that happen? And what is too many, anyway? Six in a sitting? Nine in one day? I've done both . . .
  5. I posted the Bondi Band winner over here. Next giveaway? Darn Tough socks on Monday. Dude!
Have a great weekend, everyone!

clementine heaven. O my, I have had 10 of them in one sitting about a month ago. I love them. Nothing happened, so I dont know if anything can happen. I guess its like anything else. lol. They were good a month ago, but now, they seem to be as not so good. ?? Have a good one.

Forced time off? I think I missed something. Or forgot.
Fresh produce. Yumm. So you're doing the seasonal produce bags again? So jealous about that!! :)

You know I have never had a clementine?

Great idea on the FB page! I have seen those too and now with your 301 followers... ;0)

clementines: why sell them in crates if they weren't meant to be enjoyed in massive amounts? no such thing as too many!

Happy Friday!

Sounds like a busy and fun weekend planned - enjoy it! And I hope you can get out there for a happy run soon.

Clementines... hubs and I have easily eaten an entire box in one weekend. We haven't turned orange yet. :p

You're a CSA member? That's awesome. I'm looking into them here, but there aren't nearly enough for everyone in the city who wants to join. Wait lists is what I've heard.

We have a ton of small oranges from Florida my MIL sent us. They are delicious and I could easily eat all of them in one day!

Congrats on writing such a great blog that the followers flock towards it!

Have you ever gone to the Cabot sock sale during deer season where they make Darn Tough? It is an awesome sale.

I just discovered clemintines the other day and holy yum! I have to get me some more! Hopefully the running break is not due to injury, and you can get back to it soon! :)

Wow, good for you!

Is it wrong I've never had a clementine?? I'm not a big fan of oranges and so I always bypass these...maybe I should just suck it up and try them?

I'm going to try to plant my first ever garden this year. I've been planning and it makes me feel like spring is right around the corner!

Hey!

I just found your blog and am always happy to find another runner. :) I'm sorry to hear you've been laid up for a bit...I hope you are able to get back soon. As for clementines, in that instance there is no such thing as 'too much of a good thing'! The same goes for Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream. :P Anyways, keep on logging those miles and feel free to stop by my blog and say hi!
