Five things Friday, ep. 9

  1. First, I have to say a public, "Congratulations!" to Amanda who has not only lost 104lbs (!!!!) but also just celebrated one year as an ex-smoker. If you haven't been to her site yet, you should stop over and help her celebrate her awesome accomplishment! She shows that it really is true that you can do anything you set your mind to!
  2. After a forced break from running the past few days, I'm itching to head out for a run this weekend! I'm planning an easy 5-miles for tomorrow when the temperature is supposed to be 38 degrees. Woo hoo -- warm spell!
  3. Do any of the moms and dads out there feel like potty training goes on forever? I mean, c'mon!
  4. I *heart* Vampire Weekend.
  5. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend! I'll be rooting for you :-)
Happy, happy weekend, everyone! Thanks for visiting.

~ Felice

Nothing like a heat wave to give you the running itch again!

I love that it is going to be "warm" tomorrow! Take it easy with the potty training, it can happen one day or drag on f.o.r.e.v.e.r.

I'm SO happy we're done potty training!

After being cooped up all week dealing with a stomach bug, I can't wait to get out for a run tomorrow! Have a great weekend....

I love that what ya'll are calling "warm" is still absolutely freezing to me! LOL!

I can totally understand 38 degrees being a warm spell. It has been so cold this year that anything over freezing seems warm enough to leave my coat behind. And when we hit 50 the other day, it felt like summer!

Oh yeah, can totally relate on the potty training thing. I thought it would never end. But it did. I did still have to wipe someone's butt for awhile, but at least diapers were history! Good luck.

Ha on potty training. A mom in my class today told me she paid her son to use the potty, she told him that everyone has a job and that's his. That cracked me up because it was so logical and he bought it! Not sure what she used as a bribe but it worked!!

Diana,
They are a band that I really like -- they just released their new album. It's so fun. Conal and I dance around the living room to their songs!
