Today I have RUNNING SHOES for you, people. Yup, pretty much the numero-uno piece of gear that every runner needs. OK, some of you chesty runners, and all of my fellow breast-feeders out there, would probably vote for sports bras but, you know, running shoes are up there on the list of important gear. Unless you are running barefoot then you need running shoes. And a good pair is always better than a crappy one so, if you're anything like me you end up spending a few hundred dollars on shoes each year.
Yikes, right? I know. But, c'mon, running is worth it!

I just bought my first pair of saucony for trail running. I love that they have narrow enough shoes for my little feet. I'm soon going to need to replace my pavement shoes and I'll love to try Saucony for that.

I've had my current pair of Saucony running shoes since February of 2010 and am in desperate need of a new pair! Being on a full-time student, part-time working budget has really delayed my new shoe purchase!
Over a 1000 miles on my "everyday" training Sauconys. I've been wearing them since the beginning of the year for everything but my races. I wore out 2 sets of insoles but with my racing expenses I have put off buying new training shoes. I, no my feet really need a new pair and I am long term Saucony loyal!

yay! Awesome!! I am hosting a giveaway as well, but I'll tell you why I need knew running shoes...i have one pair right now. I know i need to have a pair for rotation and for different types of training, like my long runs and my shorter speed work! Plus I am poor...aren't we all? I can hardly support my running habit. I would sell a kidney if it didn't mean i would be down and out for a while to recover. =/

Let me tell you why i need new shoes: I have one GOOD pair (i probably have much lower standards than you professionals on what is "good", but these are my first more expensive ones) and oh, can you feel the diff between the good and not-as-good ones! The problem is i wanna keep that pair for only running, but then i worry i'll injure something cross training in the not-so-good ones...Some new (Free) ones would be wonderful!

Ok I need new shoes because I don't know how many miles are on my shoes. I bought my shoes at Plato's Closet (a second hand store) for like $14. They had good tread and I thought that was a reasonable way to know whether a shoe was useable. I've now learned that's not really true. But I don't have money for new shoes...unless I win some!
